he Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island was founded in 1985 to encourage and assist the pursuit of Jewish family history. Our goal is to bring together people interested in tracing their Jewish family roots. We are a non-profit organization, operating through member efforts. We work to educate members and the general public in the “how to” of finding one’s roots. Please visit our website at www.JGSLI.org for information on our monthly speakers, beginner’s workshop and other projects and resources. And visit our Facebook page where you can take part in conversations with experienced researchers. Whether you’re Long Island or an Out-of–Towner, we’d love to hear from you. Good luck with your research!
